Can we still feel the Full Moon?

Hello Mystics, how are we living this Leo season?

I hope you’ve been embodying your main character energy and locking in the juicy summer frequency!

If this newsletter has found you at a good moment, I invite you to pause and dive in with me because I have some potent messages for you about the Full moon in Aquarius that happened this week.

I’m so grateful for your participation in this wisdom and work.

Let’s talk about the cosmic energy coming through this Full Moon.

♒️ Aquarius ~ The Water Bearer ♒️

First, let’s look at the general Aquarius Archetype.

Fixed~ Air~ Masculine ~ Uranus

Known for their radical individuality, eccentricity, and untethered modus operandi, the air sign is a character who sees the world from the perspective of the stars. They don’t go with the flow but rather forge their own paths with increasing momentum.

They’re a masculine, fixed sign contributing to their revolutionary disposition.

The Aquarius is an excursionist, guided confidently by their inner compass. Determined, independent, and inquisitive. Ruled by Uranus, the planet of eccentricity, freedom, and potential.

Galileo and Mozart are a few notorious Aquarius Sun placements!

🌝 Full moon in Aquarius 8/11 6:36 PM EST🌝

I suspect we all felt an intense surge of energy as the moon entered Aquarius on Thursday.

There are a few reasons why so let’s break it down.

Sturgeon moon, emotional megaphone, Venus enters Leo.

This Full Moon is known as a sturgeon moon in the farmer’s almanac due to the abundance of sturgeon that flock to the great lakes during this time of year—symbolizing individuality and abundance.

I’m going to talk about the specific energy of the Aquarius Full Moon in a moment, but before I do, I want to point out that the Sun is currently in Leo (Aquarius’s opposing zodiac) and on the same day (8/11), Venus entered Leo.

I’m bringing this up because when opposing signs ALIGN and come together, they can balance each other out divinely, but when they’re in dissonance with each other, they bring out the worst in each other.

This mix of strong Leo/ Aquarius energy creates A LOT of sparks and passion.

The best thing you can remember right now is:

Two truths can exist at the same time.

The Moon becomes a megaphone for the Aquarian energy, which means that your most radical and unadulterated ideas and emotions will not merely be revealed, they will be amplified and projected. Use the complimentary Leo placements to channel that energy into your craft, art, and expression. Indulge and entertain this potent energy.

The Fool's Journey: Strength

The message that comes through most clearly with where we’re at in the Fool's Journey is:

Strength implies struggle.

This Full Moon might test you a little. We are learning a new way, and we have to trust that process of struggle and strive. We have to create authentic faith in OUR unique energy and divine guidance. We do that by enduring the labor of our rebirthing.

This reminds me of an Alan Watts quote that has always resonated with me.

If you awaken from this illusion and you understand that black implies white, self implies other. Life implies death (or shall I say death implies life?) you can feel yourself – not as a stranger in the world, not as something here on probation, not as something that has arrived here by fluke - but you can begin to feel your own existence as absolutely fundamental.”

The tarot card for the Aquarius Full Moon: 7 of Swords.

Pay attention to the information you’re alchemizing.

The upright interpretation of this card tells us that deception is at work.

This Aquarius Full Moon has the potential to be a profound portal for your personal growth. The 7 of swords reminds us to be aware of internal or external influences that may deter you from holding yourself in the energy of love, passion, and authentic expression. If it lowers your energy (creates thoughts of self- doubt, fear, or negative self-talk), remind yourself—that energy is not yours to carry.

Social Media Detox

UNPLUG!

This Full Moon is a perfect opportunity to untether from the digital world and reconnect with the richness of being a human on planet earth.

Take this week to detach from the digital world and partake in some of the things you did as a kid before you had a cell phone, HBO, and Tiktok.

- Put your phone on airplane mode and cook a meal from scratch while listening to an entire album.

- Watch the sunset with a lover.

- Go camping somewhere you have no cell service.

- Put your phones out of sight and hold a candle-lit circle for your friends and loved ones.

Get creative, get present and give your mind and spirit a cleanse from the internet!

We’re really only scratching the surface of the energy of this Full Moon, but I hope this helps you tap in a little bit deeper as the days go by.
